Buying an Expired Domain

If I buy an expired domain, will it show in flippa under "Domain Registered" the date the original owner registered it? I'm wanting to build a nice business under it and give it the appearance of an aged site, not that I'll claim that in the description.. I just want it to look good.

I'm afraid it will show the date you registered it. I had this idea a while back until I realized it shows my registration date.
I believe Flippa pulls this information from WHOIS data which will only show your Registration/Creation Date.

However, you are still able to make a profit of these domains provided that they are good names and have some good backlinks.
I've made a nice profit on a few expired domains I snagged, so it's defiantly possible!

You should buy from the domain expiration service linked to the place where is it registered
