buying accounts with huge follower count (1k+)

Are these accounts more advantageous than just buying a regular aged account and going from there organically?

I would like to save time, and I have seen some accounts go for like $10 for 1k followers, and $50-60 for 10k followers. No idea if the engagement is legit or botted.

What are your experiences like with these accounts? I would like to get into adult niche and some more general stuff.

I've made a couple of reels and actually purchase Facebook Engagement for like 0.30$ per follower (latin america based) so its very expensive that way.

I'm also looking forward to listen to the experts in the area because the legit way to save time is not very cheap.

Having an account with followers typically means that the profile has been warmed up. If the page doesn't have followers it means the activity was low and you may need to warmup the account for longer before you start doing many actions.

It could be botted or real too, depends where you are buying it from. But starting from scratch is a better idea, you get fresh audience who are actually interested in your Niche.

If the engagement is real, it can save you time, but most cheap accounts have botted followers so the reach is poor. For niches like adult content, you’ll want accounts with active, targeted audiences rather than just big numbers. Always check post interactions before buying.

You can use it, I think it is more effective

Those accounts are usually overpriced. It’s better to get regular aged accounts and grow them yourself with bots. In my experience, most of the pre-grown ones are packed with cheap bots — something I can do myself for far less money.

For social proof, sure. But most of the followers on these accounts are botted or the engagement is dead. May as well start from scratch if you want the account to last long.

I agree with this answer. If you want a high-quality audience, create reels that will make people subscribe to your profile. You can get 10,000 subscribers in 6 months.

If you plan to purchase an account with followers, do not purchase an account that costs $10 with 1k+ followers unless he shows you proof he has grown that account organically in the niche you are planning to post or in a close niche.

Most likely they are botted followers or they have been grown through methods like follow unfollow etc which will hurt engagement rate once you start posting.

So if you are looking to save time and you want to purchase an established account you need to look for accounts either in your exact niche or close to it that have been grown organically, also take a look at the followers yourself and the engagement on the posts to see if everything seems legit.

A few things to look out for to know if followers are botted:

Lots of these kinds of botted accounts have really weird names or a bunch of numbers in the name that is one red flag, another thing I have noticed with lots of fake accounts is they may have like 50+ posts all on the same date, another thing to look out for is if all the followers are following thousands of pages but have only a few followers (some bot accounts are better disguised than others but many are like this as I explained)

So you have a couple options to do it right:

1. you can find an established account on a site like swapd .co that also has an escrow service so you have some safety (dont do out of escrow deals most likely scam) , and when purchasing account ask for screenshots or records of analytics and also the account status page (to make sure it is legit ask him to do a screenrecording showing your chat with him and then him going to ig and refreshing analytics)

2. cheaper option: buy an aged account (2017 or lower has worked best for me) with no followers, these accounts are usually less than $10, warm it for a few days doing natural actions like following accounts in your niche, searching niche relevant keywords, watching reels (i try to skip reels not in my niche until my fyp only shows content in my niche which happens quite fast on these account with no followers/following) this will also help you see what content is trending in your niche, also comment on a few posts in your niche etc. Then start posting.
