Hello BHW, how does buying a website work in general?
For example, if I buy a wordpress site, will it get transferred to my account so I can manage it from there? Or is it just completely stuck how it was made?

You put it on your hosting/server.

you can buy a website, edit and modify whatever you need and of course you need a hosting

Make sure you use an escrow

Sometimes sellers SABOTAGE the site they are selling
