Looking to buy a router to split my internet connection into my pc/laptop/ps3?

Thinking of going for... Belkin Basic N150 Wireless Router

Any Suggestions, Ideas, or any other good low price routers?

i'm using a Linksys WRT54GL since almost 5 years now, no problem with it so far
it's Linux based and highly customizable with 3rd party firmwares

Go with a CISCO/Linksys router.

I have 2 years CISCO networking, CCNA certified. I have used pretty much every top brand of router out on the shelf, and Linksys has my vote hands down.

Linksys is really the "home" version name for CISCO routers. Everything inside is cisco, just has Linksys as the name. I actually think they are now the same company, but I haven't kept up on the news lol.

Go with a wireless N gigabit router. Which one? Read reviews. I would find one that has good reviews, is wireless N and gigabit speed. Most newer computers and laptops come stock with gig network cards/wifi.. It just makes transfering large files and streaming videos, ect through your internal network much faster. The GB router does not make your internet faster, but it does speed up your internal network so long as all your computers have GB as well.

For instance I just transferred 5.6GB of videos from my laptop to PC in lightning speed. Sure beats waiting 40 minutes :)

IMO get CISCO or GTFO.

I also had the infamous wrt54... but it burnt out after like 2-3years. It was running a custom firmware and the power output was 1.5x so that might have contributed.
The router I mentioned above is awesome for custom firmware.. they even advertise it.

From what I can tell, D-Links have improved over the years, but I still can't vouch for them like others are because I've been through 2 of their routers that have eventually failed. So I'm with Linksys now and it's great.

Thanks all, I ended up buying myself Linksys E1200 Wireless N router based on the feedback.

Thanks guys, Really appreciate you all helping me do some shopping :D
