Buying a PC

I just need some help here, and I thought maybe this forum will be able to help me out, and lounge is the perfect place. If however admins think this is NOT the right area move/delete it.

OK so I am not at ALL into hardware and if anyone is I would love some help.

FIRST: I am from India so if any Indian guy can guide it will be great (Delhi)

I would prefer a large LCD screen above 30 is possible any idea which company is best and what rate?
core2duo, quadcode, xeon which do you suggest? - with price
8GB RAM - quote me current price
1TB HDD - quote me current price
Game (only AOE as of now but I do intend to play GTA 4) so tell a good gfx card with rate.
Also do you suggest downloading and installing windows 7 or sticking to xp?

erm, what you want is going to cost more then a thousand bucks

i bought my laptop for 1,500, and it is not even close to what you want for your comp.

also unless your going to do some crazy serious work wiht your comp you dont need all of that.

what are you gonna be using your comp for?

Why not have a look at Dell online. You do not have to buy a computer from them but you can build one from the bottom with the specs you are looking for. This way you can get a accurate price and compare it with the competition.

Choad is right for the requirements you want, 1000 may be shooting a bit on the lower side of things. However, if you are looking to do gaming I would not settle for anything less, otherwise you will regret it in the end.

FYI - The Dell Xps was created for gamers so have a look at the processor speed, memory, vid card, hd etc.... As well, there is a Dell in India so you can call for further assistance or quotes.
