Buying a computer, thoughts?

Yes, I need unlimited RAM and CPU.

Even if I manage to put to use all the bots and programs I want to, and I still have some computer power left, I'll add more bots. I'll buy Jarvee I'll buy scrapebox I'll buy one of the thousand bots out there and put them to slave away for me and Make, Me, MONEY! :)

I would also prefer to run my bots on my computer because our bots and methods can't be stealed in our computer.
I am from India and last to last month I purchased an i5 8gb ram. Its quite fast. I have purchased it for 175$.the only downside is it don't have sound card so no voice but you can have it by paying extra.. Internet cost 20$ mo 100mbps unlimited. Electricity like 40$ mo with ac/heater running 6hours a day with tubelights 1fridge 1 led TV 1 geyser. Actually it's a trick to save electricity, I have 4meters of electricity for each floor separate. Because first group of unit consumed is cheapest, I do change all home electricity to next meter with a changeover.. Every 15 days..

SHIT! I was planning to use an HDMI to HDMI cable to connect PC to Lap Top and use lap top as monitor (I don't have a TV or a monitor I can use). But I connect the cable and nothing happens.

Any ideas guys?
 
As someone who use to bot runescape for a living (100+ accounts on a single PC) the specs you wanna focus on are your processor and ram. It's also ideal that you purchase a liquid cooler as its going to be running 24/7 and the last thing you wanna do is shut it down.

You also don't need an amazing graphics card.

I'd recommend the intel processor i7 4930k because of its 16 core processor (most have 4-6).

16 gb of ram is good too.

That's not how it works unfortunately. You can remove the display from the laptop, and get a controller board that matches the LCD's model number... https://www.aliexpress.com/popular/lcd-controller-board-kit.html

Looked through my shit here, I only have Win 10 on a CD. I have Win 8.1 on a USB. I'm gonna format the USB and then burn Win 10 on it, and then install it on the PC.

Always a struggle..

Oh it's not a lap top, I bought a PC. It's cheaper to get a good PC than a good lap top. Thanks :)

So guys, I got the PC, I have like 12 programs running on it now, plus my other lap tops running what they can handle. I think my next upgrade is gonna have to be the internet connection, all them programs I'm running use bandwidth and I've experienced some slowdowns because of it. So next up, get a faster internet connection.

I'm very happy with the purchase though. The PC is a beast, exactly what I needed.

Definitely you are better running your bots from a VPS rather than your home PC. thats what I would do anyway.
And for your computer, I would suggest concentrated on a decent mobo first - as you suggested - thats a sensible idea.
After that, look at the CPU, look at the rating of any processor that you are considering here - https://www.cpubenchmark.net/ - that would give you an idea of how it matches up.
Next, look at the hard drive and I would highly recommend an SSD drive because if you go for traditional spinning disk it will definitely be the weak point in your PC.

I used hetzner only as an example.There are even cheaper solutions that support windows, on the example, you can get Google Cloud account for like $6 (The price to get a Credit card) and receive $300 credits for 12 months. With his budget, he would be able to run multiple powerful instances for a long time.

Let's take a new calculation, let's say his budget is $500 USD he would be able to run next instance:
4 vCPUs - 15 GB RAM - 70 GB HDD - Price: $99.89/month
He can run this instance for 3 months since he has $300 free credits.
Let's say he runs 3 instances with above specs, assuming that he can get a credit card for $6 USD he would need to pay only $18 USD every 3 months.

With his budget, he would be able to run 3 such instances for 7 years. You will probably say Google can stop offering this anytime, I wouldn't worry about this there will always be profitable solutions if you know where to look.
