    Hey all,

One of my buyers left negative feedback, claiming the item I sent him was fake. It was not fake at all, some buyers just leave neg feedback to their amusement.

I have yet to leave him feedback, should i shoot it right back at him or is there a better option for me to take?

Maybe if you explain your case to the mods they can help you out.

Did you offer him a refund? Buyer can always reverse a negative to a positive if he wants

Reminds me of my first negative feedback on Ebay 12 years ago. Buyer ordered a XXXS t-shirt for his kid. He posted a negative feedback explaining "the t-shirt was too small".

Just apologies to him that he feels this way, explain why it isn't (with proof if possible) offer a discount or free return, and once this is all done then politely ask him if its ok that he removes your negative feedback.

In the future, always send a note with anything you sell telling your buying to make sure they don't just jump in leaving you a negative, and that they should contact you first to get things resolved if they are even slightly unhappy.
