Buy/Sell Domains

Hey there.

So i was thinking about possible investments for long term.
Buying and selling domains came to my mind...

If i register and buy a domain name now eg ( hello123.com )

then a few years down the line someone wants to buy it... Could i make quite a bit of cash?
Also what about domain rearranging??

Domaining is a huge business

You have to learn alot before starting it

Check out Namepros and Dnforum to get domains names and sell domain names
 
I dont want to do the illegal way.
Simply buy a domain, and then in the future if someone wants it then they buy itr from me?
 
Yeah, that would be a cool business, but 15 years ago. Right now the good domain names are already gone, unless you have $xx,xxx and you know what you're doing then probably you can make profit.

I would recommend you something more interesting which is site flipping, no matter what the domain name is, as long as you can manage to get traffic (which converts to revenue) you can sell it for up to 12x monthly profit (based on some factors of course)

Thanks for that bit of advice:) I will look into it...
And the sort of profit is by adsense / affilate etc?
How do you then go about selling it?
 
Do not limit yourself in using Adsense only, spread it like Infolinks, Amazon (if possible), Clickbank and any other forms of monetization.

As per the selling part, you can visit Flippa.com and try to list your site in there
