Buy private proxies or create your own private server

Hi everyone,

I have some business ideas where I need plenty of proxies that work in Google and LinkedIn.

With the money I spend every month and thinking in the long term, I wonder, is it better to buy private proxies monthly or to create your own private server?

Because I am a noob:

-How much does it cost to set up your private server?
-How many high quality private proxies can I set up in a VPS? (Let's say Hostgator)
-If I need 100 private proxies that work perfectly for Google and Linkedin, what is the best option, a comparison by the monthly payment, what would be cheaper?

Weigh up the costs, the pros and cons then factor in your own technical knowledge to set up and maintain a server etc.

depends on how many IPs has, 1IP=1 proxy. On hostgator has 1 IP and it costs 19.95$/month. Now you do the math

Interested on this too, I was thinking about creating my own server and own proxies to make sure they are not black-listed I was talking with a partner about the possibility about doing something like "our own private server" but who knows how lnog the road to get there will be lol..

Anyways 19.95$ per month sounds like a pretty expensive IP, im paying arround 2$ per proxy at the moment

xD well, I am just evidencing my level about this subject haha. Ok, good to know that Hostgator would not work. I though you could set up several proxies in one VPS.

Anyways, let's make a case, hypothetical.
