I listed 8 items on Feebay and 7 items were won by auction and of course put on 21 day hold. But the one that someone chose buy it now $150.00 where available in Gaypal? Is this a fluke or is this common? If so i will try to add a free gift for those that choose buy it now.

i have a bunch of buy it now auctions on hold, waiting on feedback to get the funds cleared

no feedback was left, must of been a fluke. Also I noticed after you ship an item if you leave them positive feedback it clears some money

that hasn't worked for me either, i am currently at the mercy of the us postal service

Fluke ... I had a similar situation. I had a brand new GayPal Account, and sold 2 laptops for $500; all buy it nows. I received the hold on one transactions, but the other transaction was under review by PayPal, because they obviously thought the transaction was a bit fishy on the buyers side. Anyway, after 3 days they completed their review and the transaction and the funds were in my account.

So yes ... it's a fluke.

this 21 days hold is new security measure from Ebay.
far as I know, this is only for risk groups .
risk gropus are : mobile phones, computers, watches like Rolex, jewelry, Iphones :D . because this group has the highest fraud :D
but this is only for new members and for members with bad feedback.
Yours membership must be older than 6 months, 100% feedback, no paypal disputes in last 6 months ... than they will give you money..... if you do not have these conditions then there is a chance that you will keep the money while the buyer give you positive feedback. but in my exp... they dont do that allways. just sometimes when some noob try to sell 5 x iphones..... in that case you need to provide ID.....
but when you try to sell something in non-risk groups than you dont need to worry about...

tnx

It's no fluke. Part of what Paypal looks at when they are determining whether or not to hold the funds is the feedback of the BUYER. If the buyer has little or no feedback, then chances are higher that they will hold funds.

One way to reduce your holds is to verify your Paypal account. This requires you to link it to a bank acct, give Paypal your SS#, and a few other things. Also, having an account with over 100 feedback will reduce the amount of holds you get.

he must have paid directly through paypal instead of ebay then paypal! if they pay through paypal directly ebay doesnt hold the money thats why after each sale i send the buyer a paypal invoice and send him a message like hey i sent you a paypal invoice to makes things easier lol.

From my experience, they will hold your funds for 21 days evenif the buyer leaves good feedback. Then, after the 21 day hold they will swiftly limit your account.

Fack PayPal.

As per the chat i had with a customer rep on ebay, the 21 days hold applies because my feedback haven't reached 100 yet, she told me once i have 100 positive feedbacks, then the 21 days hold will no longer applied.
That info came from ebay itself, its what i was told, so i think its all about how many positive fbacks you have.
