Buy hosting plan via own affiliate account?

I want to start a website with bluehost.. but I need the discount (from the usual price of $6.95 to $3.95).

And in order to get the discount, I have to click on affiliate's links which they will earn commission. So I thought of joining Bluehost affiliate then buying a plan using my own affiliate link.. but I wonder is it legal and ok?
I am afraid they might terminate my affiliate account and also my hosting plan - wasting the $$$ I've paid.

I've checked their affiliate policy and they didn't state anything about buying plans using own affiliate links: hxxps://www.bluehost.com/affiliate_terms.html

What do you all thinking? Can I buy the hosting plan with my own affiliate link?

Use somebody else affiliate link, then ask for 50% of what they earn, I'm sure you can find some people on here more then willing to do this.

You should speak to an operator and ask for it. Like in the other topic I stated I know my host very good, I got affiliate with it and I buy hosting through my affiliate if I don't get it free.

I got it after seeking help with their customer service. I have to say Bluehost has such GOOD customer service! I pop a question and requested a ticket.. within less than few minutes, they responded. Unfortunately, the help's response didn't really answer my question. I e-mailed them and within an hour or so, they replied. Such great service! No, I'm not being sarcastic.. I really-really admire their service!
