I have a question that I am unsure about. My niche is not hard to rank in as long as you follow your videos. I have already ranked and I have not even done anything in your videos except everything by hand. Yup by hand and it sucks at that. I am waiting till I have my desktop up and running before I start running my campaign. I am ranking well and on page 1 #8 for one of my KW already.

My questions

If I want to rank for a KW and the domain name is available should I buy it and redirect the link to my site with the same KW? Example: domain name SEO then redirect it to my website page name SEO. Would that be ok to do?

Or do I have to create a website for each and everyone of the KW that I found.

I have no idea and I spent a few hours doing some KW research in my niche and most of the KW are taken but I am able to buy a few nuggets that could drive 2k-8k of traffic per month. I only get about 1200-2000 visits a month and I make about 150.00 -400.00 in sales per month. I am working on my list building as we speak.

Anyone with input?

if you plan to make THIN emd - then forget it

if you plan to make some authority - go for it

I don't have time to make them authority at this time so I may just buy them and hold on to them until I have time. I could make them my Tier 1 sites as I will have control over them.

This was the reply from Outkast into my EMD thread; hope it helps:

No, it's not any harder to rank EMD than any other domain (ccTLD's put aside). And because you have not grasped the basic principle behind EMD "penalty", let me clear it for you: Google used to give extra boost in rankings if the keyword matched the domain name (thus the name Exact Match Domain), but that - while still a bit controversial - is not the thing anymore.

Yet, EMD's are still popular, as they should be, because they're very straight to the point and brandable. But not any requirement to rank #1 for a keyword, and definitely not making it any harder to rank.

Anyone saying that their EMD sites got hit hard, are just saying they didn't make good enough sites, and that crappy content was slashed by some black/white cyberspace animal.

Thank you everyone for their input I am going to leave them and start looking into buy high PR domain names. Want to start building my own private network.
