Hi, am about to purchase an aged deleted domain from expireddomains.net. Want to know is it safe to buy this type of domain as it is not indexed by google anymore. How to check whether it is banned before? Thanks

site:domainname.com

and dude, the age of those domains are gone.

Yes i do know how to check using the above method. What I want is it domain name and is dmoz listed.
Will an aged deleted domain not indexed by google, so can I say it is banned?

If there's no live website, it may just not be indexed because there is no website to index. Most of those domains are not banned by Google- I've bought about 100 expired domains over the past few months and only around five were banned.

No where if it's dropped. I have a ton of banned domains I picked up. Now my rule is do a site:domain search and if not even a single link then pass. I see the guy said he got 5 out of 100 domains that were banned. My rate is much higher than that so now I won't purchase a domain that doesn't have at least a parked page link in Google. I'm seeing closer to 20% of dropped domains banned in my lists.

I purchased a domain that was not indexed or in the way back machine and it wasn't getting indexed by google (after 4 months) so I submitted a request for reconsideration and within a couple days of filling that out everything on the site started to get indexed and traffic. I say if the domain name fits your niche, and is available then go for it.

I have added a link to the thread where I describe the steps I took, hopefully it helps you out:

I get about 5% banned because I check archive.org and ahrefs.com prior to purchasing. Actually, most of that 5% is there because I didn't fully investigate the domain before buying it.
