This really all depends on what you want to do. you can do a google search and see there is a lot our there all the way from free to vbullentin. IMO Vbulletin is the best if you can afford it.

A few things to look at and plan.

How much time are you wanting to put into this.
Do you have the categories ready to go
Do you have other admins that can help you manage the forum
what kind of hosting are you going to go with. You could start with a shared hosting account but would need to move to a dedicated server. Then if your site gets to like blackhat i am guessing they are on a cluster. If not they should be. LOL

DOes anyone know whats wrong? it does that every time you add the URL tag into your posts in a phpBB3 forum version 3.15, it also happens when you use the URL in your signature in profile

I dont think plumber related forum would work more,better go with entertainment forum where people can discuss about singers,dancers etc.

I prefer xenforo (vb5 when start have lot of bugs, vb4 is the best for all times). And it costs $140 vs $250 for vb.
