[BUSTED] Maxbounty Caught Shaving + Pics And Proofs

Maxbounty are just a means to an end - its a place to learn with and when you have knowledge just move on to something better -- or in your case someone who is going to pay you properly for the work your doing.

Doesn't matter if its the advertiser or MB who is stealing your money - the fact is your better off elsewhere and your stats show that.

For other people doing different offers maybe MB maybe decent -- personally I think MB are scum of the earth but at days end its business - we all have bills to pay - so change your offers and choose the ones that enable you to pay your bills.

Best of Luck today.

Simply because your EPCs are lower at Max bounty, this doesn't mean that Max are shaving.

Let me explain: Adult Dating merchants scrub. The vast majority of them do this in order to reach their own ROI targets.

The % they scrub is not just based up on the individual publisher on each network, it is also across each network as a whole.

Say, for example, a publisher sends a whole bunch of poor quality leads to a dating offer via a network.

The advertiser will, of course, up the scrub rate on this particular publisher at the network, or possible pause him.

They will also - in many cases, up the scrub on every publisher at the network in order to make back their ROI.

Simply put - it may not be Max who are shaving, in many cases advertisers put network wide scrub %s in place.

And if you're pushing the offer that I think you are, this is certainly the case.

Well what does the mean is other affiliates promoting the same offer at maxbounty are sending a less converting traffic as a result of which advertisers might be shaving the whole network to maintain ROI.

After a few months testing CPA networks my conclusion is:
"Why don't we send to sponsors directly ?"

What i'm doing now.
F*ck the middle man....

Yeah, for some offers it can be good.
But ill stick with CPA networks, if advertisers dont pay them, at least network will take the loss and pay affiliates, thats kinda good and there are all offers together.
But if you run specific campaign , then yeah go with direct and take out the middle man

Scrubbing can be enabled only when they can see quality, how can they tell quality from first 7 leads ?
I know what scrubbing is and this isnt scrubbing ;)

He means quality from the whole network.. not just you..

Hmmm... this is not the first time I read such story about Maxbounty. Why is this happening?

no advertiser will shave the whole network, They can easily see which publisher traffic is converting and which one is not converting, when they found out your traffic is not converting to them, they ask network to cut down following affiliate IDs... and your AM will drop you from that offer. In no way the advertiser shave from ALL affiliates... The advertiser is not crazy to do shaving network wide instead they immediately dropped those guys who are sending them bad traffic, why should they remove legit leads from good affiliates and give a share to bad guys?

I suggest people to not send traffic to too small networks (1 person companies) and also big ones, always chose in the middle. the problem with 1 person companies are that they may close their company at middle of night and disappear and problem for big companies are that they have many employees, and to pay their employees salaries they need to shave and get a much higher % from affiliate incomes

I love these threads, but ferma231 you need to bear in mind that your stats are really flawed.

If it was the exact same offer, same landing page and exact same traffic then yeah you can show proof. But even if you do show that exact proof, forum members will always bash you regardless. Your stats have just shown us what offer converted best for you.

I've no proper experience with those networks except for LC, and what I will say is if you think LC is shaving your sales, pick up a credit card and buy and watch the sale go through. LC will happily refund you if you mail them after..

There was everything the same, i even checked, i had this feeling for long time, when people said they signed up and i didnt get shit, so i explored it more, lost some money on shaved leads, but now i know that they shave, or at least has bad results ;)

I will stay away from them, this isnt first time i get such a bad results.

Remember - some advertisers will have a scrub on by default too. This is common practice.

Scrubing is enabled only then when they need to get some profits and peoples campaign makes little loss, this is enabled after some time, not on first try :)

No idea if this was already asked but how long have you been with maxbounty? If its been a while then they could be shaving to compensate for the low overall backend conversions they've been getting from you. You can get high conversions initially with alot of networks because they havent had time to see how well your traffic converts for the advertisers yet, then it can dropoff rapidly.

Still no actual proof. Just hearsay and speculations. This thread should be deleted.

The amount of misinformation, inaccuracies and blatant lies in this thread are staggering.

The OP has had a problem with MaxBounty for years, so it isn't too surprising that he show selective data to attempt to prove his case that we shave. Have a look at his past posts and you'll see a large amount of them are simply bashing us. He's certainly welcome to his opinion, but realize that he is not an unbiased source of information.

We DO NOT SHAVE leads. Never have and never will, and this I swear on the lives of all who I hold dear to me.

Of course results vary when same offer tests are completed across several networks. There are many, many reasons for that, and I could write a 10,000 word essay on that. The primary reason results vary is because almost nobody ever does a true split test.

In any case, I'm at BHW so I'm not surprised there's a lot of hate for us. We actually believe in enforcement of rules, and since this place is about breaking rules, well it's only natural a lot of affiliates have ha experiences they don't like.

If anyone wants a true picture on how we operate, look for comments and reviews about us outside of BHW. The results you see will be less skewed by affiliates who have been terminated.

Feel free to contact me with any questions.

PS - Hi Jordan!

PS - Hi Jordan!

Let it stay here.

I showed how results varies from networks and its weird that i had the worst results with your network.
All other networks had good results but you have the worst so that is 1st thing :)

I havent got problems for years. This was just one campaign i tested on different networks, before that i had tested other offers with super low results, even all friend said that these results sucks ass. but yeah

Let it stay and let people chose what they want :)

There are so many factors that could affect your EPC on one network VS another. As someone pointed out, are they direct with the advertiser or brokering the offer with someone else?

If you like working with a particular network over another but not making the same amount of money, the tell your AM to bump your EPC/payout on the offer or else you are going to go where you are making the most money.

You obv put a lot of time and detail into everything and I think we can all appreciate that, but it doesn't accurately show you being shaved when so many variables are being left out.

Look very few solid & honest cpa companies out there, but maxbounty is one of the best around. No issues when I run with these guys, get weekly payments when I meet threshold and never have any issues.
