Hello, I wish to start a couple of websites and a couple of landing pages.

One of the websites I want to be a content managing system (MEMBERSHIP SITE); where a User pays say 5$ to REGISTER and access premium content.

The other website, I want to utilise for CPA marketing, affiliates and landing pages.

What I need is help picking the right host, and saving money. My startup funding is very small at this moment.

Now: is it possible to have both of my websites on the same host? I.e have 2 Domains pointing to 2 different pages on the same host?

And if so: any recommendations for a host that would meet my demands? I am specifically interested CSM systems like PHP NUKE/Joomla etc. Specifically, a host that has a control panel that can Instantly Install and set these systems up.

I will REALLY appreciate any help on thsi matter.

I would take a look at hostgator to start off with. They offer unlimited domains and a reasonable price. they use cpanel and have a bunch of different one click installs availible including (Blogs: WordPress, Portals/CMS: Joomla! & PHP-Nuke).

I didnt see Joomla on their control panel: and about domains, are you referring to the 7.45$/month plan?

i think i have the swamp croc plan which is about $12 and unlimited domains and yes i do have joomla on my cpanel. I have no complaints with HG but i only use my HG account for blogs and small sites.

You can install joomla with 1 click through the fantastico program on your cpanel.

I would recommend the "baby" hostgator plan for your first host, unlimited disk space, unlimited bandwidth, and you can point unlimited domains to that account.

    Ok,

I was thinking, since the packages dont come with domains, would it be viable to buy Domains from GoDaddy and use them in Host Gator?

I think I can get a domain for 7$ from go daddy and then use it on my Host Gator.

Yep. You can buy your domains where ever you want, then you just point them to your hostgator nameserver addresses

how much bandwidth do you really need?

a lot of people talk about unlimited plans with everything, but sometimes we dont need that much crap, i bet that more than half of the people that buy those plans doesnt even know what theyre getting, they just liked the word unlimited, and I bet that a homemade/revived/old/dusty/computer/made/server would do just fine for their needs... not that Im saying this is the case, just pointig out some important stuff...
