Hello, so I am interested in creating a clothing line however, I can't seem to come out with anything creative (names) I was wondering, if people get other people to help them with business names? For example, maybe a site that allows you to purchase business names?
For my clothing line business, I would probably focus on street wear / gym / surf attire.

I would really appreciate it, if anyone is able to help. Thanks.

take a look at european clothing lines that went bankrupt between 2008 and 2012 and who do not hold a TM on their name in china. then, register the name in china and use that TMlicense#

lol that's actually not a bad idea.

business name should be attractive it should not be on the name of your family member or your loved once .
i wont advice you to search it on website.

Just think of something unique and has brandable name. It is not that hard to create your own. Or you can pay someone to do it for you.

I think you have to go on the site from where you want to host your site.
Then, write the name that is related to your business they'll give you suggestions to hire a good domain. A business should have the name according to the Domain.

You can try to use the google trends to find some inspiration, maybe?

You can do a contest type wherein the participants will suggest a business name and you can do a poll to decide the winner

Get high and brainstorm a list or possible names, then get drunk and cross out the annoying ones until you are left with 5 to 10 options, then choose the winner the next morning while still hungover while needing to piss, so you are in a hurry. Then stick with your decision and most importantly of all - never second-guess yourself and your decision. Any name that you arrive to using this process will surely work, because all kinds of brand names usually work if you market them correctly.

TL;DR: Pick something and concentrate on the business, people get used to names and choosing a name is actually not that decisive, you just need to choose something that is not awful.

I sold apparel for a while under the name "Vague Apparel". It was catchy.

A few good brainstorming tools:

- Use a Thesaurus
- Go and and look for startup names. A ton of them don't end up getting funded, and you can also play on words a lot of them.
- Same thing as above but with LinkedIn Jobs
- Find the Latin root of what you're trying to do

last three tips are very great. thanks

Just misspell the word "Active" to make it seem sporty, and then affix a random textile to the end. It's easy.

e.g "Activ Denim".
