Business Name 'Embedded' on to Google Maps

Hi,

I would like to get a hotel/B&B to appear on Google maps as actual text on the map (others are on there with a little bed symbol). How is this done? I have the google places marker on there ok, but wondering how others have got the name enscied on the actual map?

Have you tried paying for the google map ads? I don't know if it will get the business name embedded, but it could help increase visibility with the blue markers instead of red.
