Hello, I am interested in starting a business along with my friend. He managed to get sponsorship of over 150.000 GBP for a past business and he can do it again but we need the right business for that. We would point for at least 5 to 10 thousand GBP monthly.

All the ideas are welcome, the one we'll start with, the owner of that idea will get a bonus of our first month profit.

Yes, I know, I could of searched around but I want fresh ideas with potential, thanks.

Well it's hard to just come up with random ideas for businesses for someone I've never met... There are too many variables. My main two questions would be:

- What are your aptitudes and interests? What are you GOOD at?

- What kind of business do they NOT have in your town, but there is demand for? Is there some product or service that people have to drive out of town to get?
 
1. It must be an online business.
2. I am good at web developing and designing, but we can hire freelancers, developers designers and so on. I just need the ideas.

I was thinking about a PPV and CPA combination, or starting a CPA company. I don't really know. Maybe some affiliate stuff. I am not sure, that's why I posted this topic. btw. I have nothing in my PMB.

What do you guys think? Is it worth to set up a Get Paid To or Cost Per Action network? Or should I get into PPV and CPA.
 
You can invest those GBP150,000.00 ($230,000.00 or so in US dollars, right, roughly how much I'm looking for at the moment) in my online business; get 51% of it let us run it for about two years and sell it, via the venture vultures, for several millions.

If you can show me you're serious I will do the same. Business plan is ready and we're in a pre-funding but already operating phase.

"Something's" never good enough. I mean, you can have all the money in the world but if you have no passion for the "idea" / you look for on a message board / than it can whittle away, bit by bit.

And if you're crazy about your own passion you do not even need the money (or at least not that much). And if you think about SEO, for example, for here we mostly deal with it, you know what's the biggest secret of SEO? You do not need it. The most successful business do not use it etc., etc., etc.

The passion for what you do is the absolute key. Find what you love and make a business out of it. Good luck!!!
 
You learn to be good at it and love it. You never get good or proficient at anything unless you try it out and learn by failing. I suggest you just go into video games. UDK is $99 and you can use it for videos or games on mobile or pc platform. For really fun films you can use SourceFilmMaker since it is easy and Valve put a lot of time and effort into it. I won't discuss more since it is obvious you can use the search function on here. If you work smart, use psychology on your target niche audience and over deliver on quality and service you will succeed.

P.S. What works for me, might not work for you but I do EVERYTHING myself. I do pay for some outsourcing but mainly I keep it all to myself. If you are serious and want to get started I can pm you some of my resources to help you. Just remember that it is solid work loads in order to make decent cash.
 
create a site that can bring LIVE people to your site. Internet Marketing. I can find clients for you cuz i have TONs of clients who are very disappointed in their traffic and don't know where to start with online marketing and ad agencies charge a bundle. Especially targeted advertising.
