Business Ideas within a City

Hello Everyone!

I hope everyone is well and hopefully making bank.

I've been a lurker for quite some time now, for almost 5 years. I've had a few accounts because I'd forget the password or whatever but I decided that I want to actively contribute as much as I can to this excellent community.

I'll try my best to keep this as short as possible. Please bare with me, and thank you in advance for taking the time to read this.

I've always enjoyed simple, online methods of making money, that doesn't require crazy capitals, who doesn't? I particularly really enjoyed reading 'Guaranteed $10k a month online/offline hybrid method' by The Dark One. I think the model is great and it could be applied to anything. I think a simple method without anything innovative, although tweaked and altered, could serve to be an excellent stream of income.

I am moving to a smaller city (100k+ population) in the U.S at the end of the year and I am interested in starting an online business that focuses specifically on that city. I want to build a platform that would attract as much diversity and would be the go to for that particular niche within that city.

I already have a few ideas in mind but I would also love to hear some suggestions from you guys.

What do you guys think?

is the town touristic, if it is you could start airbnb arbitrage even if you dont have your own property.

Start a pastry bakery. Only focus on corporate events.

If you are willing to put in the work, you could try to find people, who want to sell their property, but have some problems with it or maybe are even way too lazy, to do so.
The only business would then consist of displaying the properties, that are currently for sale.
