Hello everybody...

Next semester I get into business school, but I am having a hard time figuring out what I want to concentrate in...

-Financial Analysis
-Human Resources Management
-Internal Auditing
-International Business
-Marketing
-Management Information Systems
-Operations and Supply Chain Management

Anybody here with a degree in any of the following ?

Also, before I get any replies stating "well it depends on what you like to do", please keep in mind that I believe

Stability, Salary > What I enjoy doing.

In our economic times it almost seems foolish to still have this mindset. If you have any knowledge of salary, stability, difficulty, etc of any of the following careers... I'd love to hear some input.

Thanks for discussion,
-Joe

If it were me i'd do fianancial analysis.

If you can develop fianancial models and strategies, you will never be poor.

All the other subjects are things you will learn along the way anyway, but mathematics and financial analysis is the core of everything.

good luck
;)

Anything but marketing... I'm a marketing concentration and totally regret it.

:rain: That is very unfortunate, but I am also thankful for your reply. I was originally desiring a degree in marketing until I was repeatedly told otherwise. This goes along with what I want to do vs. what is the "better" option. For the past 2 months I have been slowly transitioning towards financial analysis.

Accounting, no matter how big the demand may get, is out of the question for me :). There is a difference between doing something you may not prefer and doing something that actually irritates you.:p

Very good point and I know from research that learning all of the others along the way is pretty valid. So far financial analysis IS what I am leaning towards.. thanks for the replies
