Burnt out, looking for something simple

Spent last decade trying different schemes, completely done with greyhat startups. Right now have couple grands per month and about 10k in savings. Looking for something old and reliable which could be my primary work/business for the next 10 years. For example - proxy, VPN, servers, any saas. Have middle level software developing experience, huge experience in scraping. Can't leave the house for reasons.

That's it, I guess. Will be thankful for any direction.

Where are you from? You can build your own mobile proxy farm (great resources here) and start renting them to the right people. Pretty high demand and potential hefty profit, mostly if you are from US.

With your skills, a simple SaaS like a web scraping API or small tool for marketers could work well long-term. It’s low-maintenance and you can build it from home at your own pace.

Eastern Europe, thank you. I could setup this remotely in us, or find a niche clients in Europe, but proxy market feels a bit saturated. Although with $1/day it seems nice.

Thank you. I did a few, but they wasn't be able to find any clients. Here's a list of latest: btc tweets volume analyzer, chrome extension for qa, gpt wrapper to validate fields of listing from its description, real estate listing aggregator for particular eu country. It's a good idea, but need some fool proof niche, even if it's less profitable.
 
i know saas platforms work very well and i have a friend that owns a saas for softwares made for musicians and its working like a charm. But you need to find a winning category...
 
Develop and market AI agents in a niche topic that no one else is doing on n8n.
 
Why are you done with the grey and blackhat startups? Don't they usually pay well?
 
SaaS with ai, ai is still unsaturated but difficult to get a working ai and demand to fullfill or problem to solve with ai.
 
u built in the dark long enough, time to own infrastructure. look into micro-SaaS built around scraping pain points email finders, price trackers, expired domain alerts, AI wrapper tools. focus on boring but sticky.
 
What is your CV and what experience do you have with scraping? I might have work for you.
 
This probably isn’t what you're aiming for right now, but have you thought about picking up a simple remote job - just something to clock in and out of so you can rest and rebuild without the pressure?
 
some AI agent related to scraping data maybe? The ai agent topic is hot rn and with experience in scraping you might find a niche which you'll like and which earn you $
 
Respect for walking away from greyhat — that clarity is a huge asset.
 
sell automation courses. there is demand for automation services using make or n8n or zapier together with AI like chatgpt claude. i paid like 99/month for some of these communities on skool
 
Thinking of something simple?

Have you thought of information mktg? With your years of experience, you can created info products to solve problems for people in your field and then use paid ad like Facebook ads to market and make money.

You can create articles, build blogs and monetize them with advertising / affiliate products and earn good money.

You can write short simple books based on your experience and put them out via KDP Amazon. Since you have some money, you can use Amazon ads to scale this.

There are many simple things you can do.
