Burning through disposable ecommerce sites

Given that penguin updates are likely to remain every 4-6 months or so for the forseeable future, I'm considering the possibility of creating disposable ecommerce sites to rank quickly, accepting the fact that they are likely to get bombed on the next penguin update.

Basically what I'm looking to do is to launch a site, then immediately after a penguin update throw a ton of poor quality links at it. This will hopefully lead to good rankings for a short period, before the site gets penalised on the next penguin update.

I know there are flaws in this plan, but its something I want to try. Has anyone else done this? What were your findings?

This is a basic "churn and burn" strategy and is very profitable if you know how to do it right.

It works fine. Get a site up and running for $50 including hosting, name, content and SEO. Make a few thousand on it for 16 weeks.

I don't do this but - what amazes me from watching those that do - is how 75% of them survive Penguin anyway.
See great sites with loads of brilliant content and a few dodgy links that the webmaster didn't know about vanish - and a load of cruddy 2 page churn and burns with 30,000 of the shittest links known to man survive update after update.

There is very little rhyme or reason in Google's activities. Just roll the dice and hope. Quality content, solid linking - none of that is a guarantee of anything.

with this churn and burn strategy, does duplicate content matter? I mean, if the site is going to burn anyway, should I bother with unique content? Use spun content? Or just straight duplicate content?

Does link quality or type matter, or should I just build as many low quality scrapebox, xrumer and other links as I can? Is it worth paying for some high quality links or not?

given the small potential window of opportunity, assuming they don't survive the next penguin update, what is the best way to get the timing right? Get a site aging beforehand, then throw a load of links at it immediately after a penguin update?

should content be drip fed, or doesn't it matter?

finally, from zero, how long after throwing a few thousand crap links at a new site can I expect traffic to start?

subbed this is exactly what I am doing, i started mine with a big sape package on here for $400 per month, 2 weeks in 0 ranking or traffic bit dissaponted at the moment, maybe should just have gone for huge amount of shitty links

Hey guys,<br><br>Not that i can really answer your question but recently i have found that blog$pot ranks VERY quickly with a ton of GSA links, i dont think it would help with your ecommerce sites but ive launched 20 of them and about 15 are ranking and banking hard!<br><br>I dont even have GSA myself, i use a guy on Fiverr for $25 to keep it posting links for 1 month and after 3 weeks they rank (medium competition keywords) and bank me in total thousands per week... but im in a very high paying niche.<br><br>Ive personally given up on long term authority sites these days, its like the wild west out there.<br><br>Rank, bank and repeat!<br><br>If its any consolation ive forgotten about ecommerce and do purely CPA these days, ecommerce with the new google updates is scary and such a waste of time in my opinion! 

This strategy definitely works, while I have not done it personally, I have seem several sites that do. I estimate one of these sites pulls in $6000 a day based on a dominating authority site (who I used to work for) in the same niche which pulls in $80000 a day. I am trying to crack the same niche using a careful link building method (for 2 weeks now) but I think I just going to go into "burn and churn" mode as I can rebuild the site easily on another domain when it dies. Pity it's getting quite late now with the Xmas season already in full swing. Anybody else had success with "burn and churn"? What link types did you use?

I'd be careful throwing tons of scrapebox and xrumer links at a brand new domain, 99% chance it won't work. Use something like SAPE if you want to go that route. And yes churn and burn still works. I'd recommend using three sites, a diff. link building strategy on each site, and then seeing what works. May do it myself actually : ) With that said, I know plenty of high level SEOs, and the ones using private blog networks (their own) to rank their sites virtually never get hit. Longterm rankings are not impossible, most SEOs just build links the wrong way.

This is the "Churn and Burn" strategy and does in fact work. However I have found it to be more profitable to
use email marketing and go the long term route. Banking hard quickly is nice but making that steady cash monthly is what
really propels you into a better position.
