Bump time for BST

I think it is updated to 24 hours.
But on the page where we submit BST, still old information of 72 hours is shown.

"Thread bumping - Don't do it.

Members found to be bumping their thread (deleting a post and then reposting it AND / OR placing consecutive posts within a 72 hour period) will receive a 1 month ban and their Marketplace thread(s) will be removed."

Should be corrected.

Is this for a new thread or an old one?

For my last BST, for the first 72 hours after approval [maybe even more] I was able to bump the thread, there was no 24 hours info after my last bump, I did report that one, and of course I didn't do it [bumping more than once/24 hour].

This is maybe something BHW staff would love to check out as I'm sure there are people that will for sure bump the hell out of their threads and never report the problem.

There might be some bug, I'm not sure...

Isn't the latest rules on BST management

BST Owner is allowed to reply as often as needed. However the system will not bump (if BST owner replies) unless the 24hr timer is up.

However, anyone else replying to it will bump it.

Posting after 24 hours will get your BST to the home page but that should be an appropriate reply to a query from someone and not just you mentioning 'Bump' or 'taking new orders'.
What the 72 hour rule is you're only allowed to 'bump' your post with a 'bump' comment once in 72 hours.

Not from what I remember.
BST can reply as often as needed.
The "bump" won't occur unless a 24hr timer has pass.

You can reply as needed. But it will bump only after 24 hours. This is wrongly written as old 72 hours on thread submit page I think.

Pretty sure that is the outdated version, before the anti-bump system was added.

I know plenty of BST holders who still don't even know about the new anti-bump system.

You can reply to posts on your BST only after 24 hours since your last post (assuming you aren't the last post on the BST).

If no new posts on your BST after 72 hours, you can bump (even if you are the last post in the thread).

I'm like 99.9999% sure these are the rules and have been the rules for quite some time.

In that case, I did some bumps wrong way I think. It was changer like it will not bump before 24 hours even if bst owner replied so I thought limit was reduced to 24 hours. Waiting for some mod to clear.

The rules listed on the BST submission page do need to be updated. This is already on the task list of another staff member, so they should be updated sometime this month.

For now, the updated rules can be found in section 4 of the BHW marketplace rules, as @Meerakat pointed out.
