The cop was forcing this guy to comply. He looks as if he wouldn't submit to being handcuffed. There is nothing right with assaulting an officer for doing his job. The idiot broke the law by running onto the field then was fighting against the cops.

rentacops or police officers, when u see a mob of angry soccer fans approaching u by the hundreds you will quickly come to senses, and say pulling out a gun is useless because u will prolly get yourself killed, see they just knocked him unconscious he will live to fight another day, once u start to threat peoples lives sure once u let off the first shot the majority of the people will run, but out of those 200 people 5-10 of them are not and they will beat your ass down then once everyone else see your helpless 50-100 people will then beat your ass down...and eventually depending on how mad the mob is eventually kill u.
It didn't matter if you was a rentacop or cop the only difference that would have made would have been the the wording in the funeral eulogy

I can't help but to agree with you in a sense. I HATE cops. But fact is, I kinda felt bad for him while watching that video. I guess its human instinct to feel bad though, because no matter how much I don't like someone, and no matter what I say when angry, fact is, I would not wish that on anyone.

He had there or four cops holding him down. There was no need for that cop to punch him like that. And how freaking brave of that cop to punch a restrained man in the head.

Agreed 100% I think Hijinx meant this though: Yes, he punched a restrained man, but his chances of death were very minimal. When everyone kicked the officer and knocked him out, his chances of death increased dramatically. They could have just pulled him off and left it at that. Ofcourse in america there are laws that protect people from police brutality, and I'm not sure of the laws there, so in all fairness, they may have had no choice but to take the law into their own hands, but still, they went too far IMO.

So let me see if I have this right: At a public sporting event, some ass-hat fuckwad douchebag decides HE is more important than anything else.
The men who are hired by the venue, whether they are cops or security, do exactly what they are supposed to do, they try to stop him. They tackle him to the ground and he is fighting them. Anyone who knows procedure with a baton would CLEARLY know that the one cop who was using his, was doing it exactly as he was supposed to. He wasn't "beating" the douchebag.
Then, because we all know how retarded soccer fans can be, the rest of the douchebags in the stadium decide oh what the fuck, let's go and make it worse.
And everyone who hates cops decides they deserved what they got.
I've said it before, next time one of you cop haters has your mother raped or your sister mugged, at least be consistent and do NOT call the cops.

It's not about hating cops per se, not for me anyway. I'm not so stupid as to think we don't need them and they all deserve to die or something. There are good and bad cops just as there are good and bad every section of society. I am talking about that pone asshole cop that was punching a restrained man. In my view that was un called for.
I have watched the thing three or four times now and I have not once noticed that guy fighting those cops. I see a man who is restrained being punched in the head by a bully asshole.
