Organic Social Media Verification + Knowledge Panel

Hello fellows!

Parallel to my
$100K freelancing journey here on the forum (which I'm actively working on), it will be beneficial to pair it with a strong web presence of mine.

Apart from my mini-hustles here, I have an online business that I'm running for a while, and apart from that, I'm not completely "dead" online- meaning I have done noteworthy, innovative work and projects which could get some press and recognition; it's just a matter of pushing it a bit myself to get some more social proof under my name.

Now, here is what I deem a bulletproof web presence and what I'll strive to get within this journey without paying a single penny:
  • Social Media Verification (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook)

(Quick sidenote: I might chase TikTok and YouTube verification without 100K subscribers but I don't care about these at all, honestly. I don't use TikTok and a YouTube badge doesn't mean much, especially now with all these jacked verified channels spam-botting comment sections with bullshit.)
  • Wikipedia Page

  • Google Knowledge Panel

  • Strong Press Work (at least 2 prominent news websites eg. Entrepreneur/Forbes, another 8 or so from prominent but not as prominent or regional eg. BuzzFeed, Medium, MSNBC, etc.)

  • Active Social Media Presence (and obviously attracting a decent following, 10K+ per platform to make it easier to get verified---- also as extra social proof)

  • LinkedIn Profile

  • SEO on my name

  • MAYBE a personal website, we'll see about that. I don't have something like that at the moment.

Here's what is going on at the moment before the journey starts:

I already have a LinkedIn profile but I don't use it much and it's SURELY not optimized, time to touch upon that and make it beautiful.

Inactive social media presence, decent organic following- in the thousands on most platforms.

No significant press, got two or so old-ish mentions by local stations on a few things but that's nowhere close to enough and it's not in English so to me it doesn't count, even if it might add a bonus at the end of the day for the process.

No Wikipedia page and Wikidata content available.

No knowledge panel or data is available for it.

I'm not verified anywhere.

SEO won't be that rough for my name, people that have the same name as me will hate me after I adjust a few things and get my panel going. Hah!

Things To Do First:
  • Adjust social media profiles.
  • Adjust LinkedIn profile, get a good photo there.
  • Initial SEO to outrank people with the same name.
  • Journalist reach-out for a feature of an interesting story I'll come up with in relation to what I do and hopefully my brand too.
  • Start submitting Wikidata to start being able to make a small Wikipedia page.

Stick around, this is going to be a great journey!

If you have any experience in this or you can link me to threads that are somewhat related to what I'm doing, feel free! I'd love to take a look at things that'd make this all easier to accomplish! Cheers!

any update
I'd have ditched that journey since it takes a substantial amount of time to go over everything but here we are, I'll just go ahead with it haha.

Progress so far:

Things which are in the works will be mentioned when completed, here's what's completed as of yet:

YouTube verification

Was able to get in touch with Google engineers and general employees to verify my YouTube channel after hours and hours of back and forth, reaching out, emails, and calls. The grind never stopped because I actually changed my mind and thought YouTube's the TOPPP priority for verification since I'm looking to get some content out and this would tremendously help with CTR/subscriber conversions and even comments which in this case is partial engagement from the shock factor of the ratio of subs vs the verification badge. I had to jump in call queues and it was completely insufferable.

Had the opportunity to talk to a few cool people that finally forwarded my request within the last few days of me trying, I was ready to call it quits on this; was taking way too long. Now I have connections at Google after they learned what I'm doing and everything, so that's cool, lol. Not gonna use them for anything dark, obviously. I invested dozens of hours on this, and if I had to do it again... probably not. I could've made 5 figures within that time.

How many subscribers did I have?

A few hundred. Not even a thousand.

How long did it take?

Almost 3 months and a painful amount of back-and-forth, but when it was done I finally could catch a breath. Whew.

NOTE: I already had a great amount of proof that I could somehow be considered notable at least for my country's standards, so therefore the process was quite easy once the thing got forwarded (it still took many damn months, though- not worth it)

I got all of these done as well, but more on that later once there's concrete 100% proven success on all of these.
