Hello I am looking for a company that does bulletprof domain registration...I have seen a few on google for about a hundred bucks a domain....while this price is high I am not seeing many other options..I see some of them say things like "nothing illegal allowed" which explains nothing...can anyone recommend a bulletproof domain reg? thanks

no I am talking about domains not getting suspended for TOS violations..
will ignore emails or forward to me ...I see this provided for hosting but cant seem to find domain regs doing it

Never tried them but someone on this forum recomended them, so i bookmarked :)

looks interesting.. I picked up two on http://www.zentek-international.com/domain/ but not sure how I feel about them... I see they are same price but my company directs to registerapi.com so im not sure if its legit or not.

They claim
You do. Unlike other so-called "private" or anonymous domain registration systems (where some other company "holds" your domain), with our system you maintain full private ownership of your domain name at all times. You can login after the domain is registered and privately see your ownership details. You can also update and modify any and all WHOIS details to be whatever you want. This also means you can transfer your domain to a different company if you want to at any time. We do not control your domain, you do.

bullshit?

my old reg which I thought was great suspended all domains on the account..still waiting for the right staff to come on to find out what kinda bs they are going to feed me.

so i got a domain with these people...
Interesting enough when I try to whois the .com it doesnt show anything..says unable to connect or something along those lines...

anyone heard of this? is it possible to actually show you no whois info?

ive actually just heard of yohost yesterday, and from what i heard, yes it will show nothing in the whois.....seems really good, which is why the domain costs 20 bucks...they can probably charge more....im actually looking into using them for the dedicated server and mailing now too

yes well I can verify it does not show up in search results. Tried a few diff whois services as the same result. Pretty wild as its the first registrar ive seen do it..and they dont even mention your whois info is actually BLOCKED on yohost.org .
I am assuming theres a way to check out the info..waiting for someone to post the url or whatever.

They could charge more then 20 bucks I think since I seen other regs doing around a 100....

I don't know about "bulletproof" domain registration, but yes, there are good anonymous domain registrars. They'll just register with their own information, usually based in Indonesia or somewhere else that looks completely innocuous. :P

I've had a couple domains with YoHOST, and they're great, but I've also registered a domain with Azudo.com and they're a lot cheaper. I think they're both pretty reliable companies.

EDIT: Yeah, azudo.com will reg you an anonymous domain for $12.95. Only a few bucks more than a Namecheap domain with free Whoisguard, and Azudo won't even ask for your information.

Dont ask for info...Interesting.

The difference I have seen with yohost over others is that instead of entering in their company info in some weird country the info is actually not displayed at all. No info is given so really...there is no where to send abuse emails? as far as registrar abuse goes at least...

does azudo not display any whois info at all?
I see this at azudo which is pretty cool
100% Anonymous:
We never ask for any personal details except an email address (which can be created anonymously). Accounts are setup using usernames that are randomly generated, all payment records are deleted upon account creation so there is never any trace back to you.

First domain reg ive seen that offers that as well...

YoHOST's info does show up in whois, it's to an address registered in Malaysia. Perhaps whatever you're using for whois isn't showing it, but yeah, I don't think it's possible to just not have any information showed up if a domain has been registered.

ah I finally found a whois that pulls something up.
http://www.webnic.cc/ shows up for yohost....

are all these companies claiming to do whatever just affiliates of bigger domain registrars? keep running into different companies involved then who i signed up with...
