Hi,

I am getting a lot of spammy blog comments everyday. say around 15K+ (in total) How can i remove them in bulk? is there any effective wordpress plugin that I can use?

Install Akismet or disable comments plugin, Akismet helps to identify the spammers and block that comment, disable comments helps to totally block the comment section or else you can disable the comment section for some specify pages.

Use Google Captch for Commenting for BOT Protection & If you use Cloudflare, enable Bot Fight Mode.
 
Use a captcha service. Prevention is better than a cure.
 
Akismet wordpress plugin solves your problem easily
 
I tried reCAPTCHA (V2 IIRC) for a forum before, it didn't work at all and spam kept flooding.
 
You can use Akismet or required captcha before comment , your problem it's Done.
 
There a re a few comment spam plugins in the shop you should easily find a few of them.
 
Batch Comment Spam Deletion plugin. It's an easy but powerful tool for removing spam comments from the comment section. It does so without causing the server to slow.
 
Use captcha or if know how to code then use a plugin and edit code + add multiple csrf values for verification.

In most cases the comments are automated. So, you'll be different from other blogs comment section. Hence, only manual comments will pass the process.

Better than captcha!!
 
If you don't want to disable comments (because you get enough organic) then you can use captcha which solved the problem for me.
