Bulk Semi-Spam E-Mail

Hi,
I have a bunch of email addresses that I want to send emails to. They didn't sign up to anything, I just have them. I want to sent them emails about some stuff for sale, but it's not random BS scam stuff. It's legitimate things that are in their area and they will, at one point or another, need.

I was going to break them into 14 separate lists, and send 1 list an email about something each day, meaning that each person will only get 1 email every 2 weeks. I will also have an UNSUBSCRIBE link in the email so they can easily remove themselves.

My problem is I don't know where to get a server to send them from. I don't want people to file complaints against me for SPAM, and although I doubt many will, it only takes 1 complaint. I was thinking a foreign server in a country that doesn't really have laws about that was the best way to go, but I really don't know much about this. I've also heard that drastically lowers inbox rates.

Right now I have about 2,000 emails, and it's growing by about 100/day. In time I plan to expand this further and gather more emails each day, but I want to be sure I have a way to make full use of them before I do.

Can anyone give me some ideas, especially if you've done anything like this before?

There's a lot of free mailing services that you can use for a so small amount.. (Exemple: Mailchimp).

You dont need to rent any server for that.

Thanks for the response. Right now the list is small, but the list will be expanding daily. By the end of the year I will have 20k+ emails.

Also, to the best of my knowledge, MailChimp requires that these people are double opt-in. They DID NOT opt-in at all.

Anyone else? I'm up around 5,000 emails now and growing. At the rate I'm going, I'll have more than 50k this year.

That is only a small list there. Try to use kristianix mailer and create multiple google accounts. You'll get high inboxing there if you know how to deal with it.

I was looking to use Interspire since it has a lot of functionality. My main concern though is someone reporting me for SPAM. If they shut the server off, fine, but I don't want to get fines.
