i followed the instructions, everything was fine, i opened up a couple of the files and all of the links inside were to other sites??

This tool is for indexing backlinks to your site, so those are all other sites...
BIT is for xrumer users who want to index forum profile backlinks.
Each forum profile is external site that has link to your site.
BIT pages are linking to those links you uploaded in .txt file.

Can the resulting files that BIT generates be uploaded to any site? I was thinking to use the same dedicated server as other of my sites are on, but using a unique IP and domain. Should that be ok?

Yes you can try.
I have one domain where I upload all BIT pages.
I just make new folder that is my main keyword and upload all bit pages in it.

Its been six days now and I have seen absolutely no increase in indexed backlinks?
The BIT pages have been hit with at least 10.000 autoapprove SB links.
Anyone else getting better results?

Tell us:
- are you sure all 10k comments are approved ?
- did you link to all BIT pages or just to some ?
- if just to some, to how many ?
- did you add BIT index page to social sites ?
- did you ping BIT RSS feed ?
- did you add BIT RSS feed to RSS directories ?
- are you sure that domain where you placed BIT pages is not blacklisted on google ? (search google with site:your-domain.com where you-domain.com is domain where you places BIT pages)

2500 links to 23 radom pages and 7500 links to all BIT pages

The domain is not blacklistet
I will try with another pack of links and see if I can get better results.
