If you're just getting started, don't jump straight into PowerMTA. Building a bulk email setup isn't only about installing software — the hard part is IP reputation, domain reputation, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), warm-up, list quality, and proper server configuration.
For beginners, I'd recommend:

MailWizz for campaign management and tracking (easy to use).

PowerMTA if you plan to send high volumes and want maximum control over delivery.

MailerQ is also good, but most bulk emailers still prefer PowerMTA because of its maturity and community support.
Keep in mind that no software can guarantee inboxing. Even the best PowerMTA setup won't inbox if your IPs are cold, your domains aren't warmed up, or your email content/lists are poor.
My suggestion:
- Set up your VPS correctly.
- Configure SPF, DKIM, DMARC, and rDNS.
- Start with MailWizz + PowerMTA.
- Warm up your domains and IPs slowly.
- Focus on list quality and engagement.
Inboxing depends much more on reputation and sending practices than on whether you use PowerMTA, MailerQ, or another mail transfer agent.
If you share your budget, expected daily volume, and target domains (Gmail, Outlook, Yahoo, etc.), I can suggest a more specific setup.
