Whats the best way to bulk e-mail? I have tried some programs that say they have a built in smtp host which never seem to work, (could be that the crack is dead) and also seen websites selling the service but I don't know how well the would take blackhat. How would/do you guys send out 10k etc messages

There's various ways you can go about sending email.

You can use such scripts as  
Interspire - http://www.interspire.com/emailmarketer/
MailerKing - http://www.mailerking.com/

You can use programs such as -
SendSafe - http://www.send-safe.com/send-safe.html

You can use services such as - 
Constant Contact - http://www.constantcontact.com/index.jsp

or of course, you can create your own or have your own custom 
mailer made for you.

When you use any emailing script or software how you use it 
varies from script-to-script and software-to-software so be 
sure to read any and all instruction / manuals that are given 
to you.

How often do you mail to the 10k and what are you sending? Is it a legit product to a legit list? If so, you can get by with using HG or another paid ESP.

@alex - What are you using to rotate IP's with Interspire? I have an addon for 6.1.2 that allows me to rotate SMTP accounts, subjects, and From name.

Is that what you are using as well? Did you build it?

I've had a few questions about my previous post.

The add-on does not rotate IP addresses. Instead, it sends email using different hosting/SMTP accounts. Since each host has their own IP, you are essentially rotating IP addresses along with the SMTP data.

you need to get hosting from a domain. I just asked my host and they said i can send 750 emails an hour so 18k a day

I send 150,000 emails in one hour. I have optimized my dedicated server, using 10 IPs behind a domain and configured all spf, dk, dkim, domain keys and other records well. The emails hit direct to inbox and I obey spam laws and written a disclaimer in the footer of emails. I use interspire email marketer and Power MTA on Windows Server 2003 32-it Standard Edition Windows. Moreover I have alter several libraries in windows system32 folder which helps giving more resource to MYSQL and fasten my sending speed.

Better solution is to setup your own mta.

postfix + dovecot + MySql ( for high amount of mails) + SPF + DKIM + Rdns + rotating ips can be implement relatively easily on vps and also a cheap solution.

There are tons of how to on google and on the forum too.

with approximately 10-20 ips you will be able to send thousands of emails per day and also stay under the radar.

regrading interspire older versions I did use had a problem with DKIM , it did not add keys to the email, but I am not sure if this has been fixed with newest versions.

I agree with zero-day when is possible an in house mailing software is better always when is done by people with strong experience in mailing. Remember in some way mailing is an art.

with interspire and powermta does it have to be installed on a linux box or does it have to be windows? which would be the best route?
