If you are looking for PBN quality domains thats going to cost a lot no matter what, first you have to pay the supplier for the domain names then you have to register them.

If you are looking to register some random domains then you can try making multiple accounts on different domain register sites so you can use coupons to save a nice amount of money.

Or maybe someone here has a bunch of domains they can sell to you.

You don't really get price breaks for domains, $8 sounds about right. You might as well go with Name Silo or somebody who offers free whois and what not rather than somebody like GoDaddy who is just going to try and destroy you on upgrades and renewal fees.
