so lets say that this site is solid and my first purchase i went balls to the wall and bought the 500 sites. My ultimate goal is to be able to sell advertising (banners and coreg) on the sites when they begin to receive traffic.

So what should my expectations be in terms of how long it would take for all the sites to start seeing traffic?

How many SEO folks will i need to work on these sites?

How much do you think i should expect to pay per site in content and SEO?

i have an in house design guy so build out of the sites is taken care of.

Has anyone used these guys before?

Full Disclosure - I am from Managed Admin. I'd be happy to answer your questions. We handle the build out and linking process for a lot of our customers so I can let you know how it works with us.

Depends on what sort of keywords you are trying to rank for. Most of our clients don't really focus on building traffic to the domains we sell them. They use the domains to pass "juice" over to their money sites and focus on building the traffic there. That being said, since we utilize unique and topical content for the SEO "dummy" sites an accidental side effect of that is that a lot of time the "dummy" site will actually start to rank and get traffic. They are after all built on a domain with great SEO stats. This usually starts to happen 1-2 weeks after build out is complete.

How many SEO folks will i need to work on these sites?

We have a small in house team that handle all of the build outs and linking. Since the sites we are building out don't require too much content our guys can knock out a few an hour. We also built our own SEO hosting platform that cut down the build out time by more than 60%. We can insert 500 domains into our platform and within minutes they will all be hosted across diverse IP's from lots and lots of different shared hosting companies all around the world and wordpress will be installed on all of them. Instantly ready to build out. This used to take us a long long time. We are opening the platform to the public within a few weeks.

How much do you think i should expect to pay per site in content and SEO?

We spend about $7 per article at textbroker. You can go lower quality or you can go higher. For money site content we tend to spend about $15-20 per article.
