What is the easiest/best way to send several (1,000+) messages to the members of a directory website? The website has contact forms for each member. I have pre-selected the members I want to contact, but assume some spam filter will put a stop to things early on.

Sending many messages at once can trigger spam filters. It's better to send them slowly and personalize each message a bit to avoid being blocked.

John Michelson reply is right about the core principle, but doing that manually for 1,000+ contacts is impossible. You're right to look for an easier way.

This is a job for an automation tool. Something like GSA Website Contact or Scrapebox's Contact Form Submitter is built for exactly this task.

However, just loading up a list and hitting "start" will get your IPs banned immediately. To avoid the spam filters you're worried about, you need to make the tool behave more like a human. This means you'll need:

  1. High-Quality Proxies: You need to rotate your IP address for every submission. Sending 1,000 messages from one IP is the fastest way to get blocked. Residential proxies are best for this.
  2. Spintax for Your Message: You can't send the exact same message 1,000 times. Use spintax to create hundreds or thousands of unique variations of your message. For example: {Hello|Hi|Hey} {I found your profile|I came across your listing}...
  3. A CAPTCHA Solving Service: Most contact forms are protected by CAPTCHAs. You'll need an integrated service (like 2Captcha or Anti-Captcha) to solve them automatically.
Even with the best tools, the most important factor is the quality of your message. If it provides genuine value to the recipient, it's much less likely to be treated as spam.
