I'm not sure if there is a tool made specifically for this, but there is a tool that can do this (and lots of other great stuff) very easily and quickly. It's called ScrapeBox (SB).
If you are in IM and you don't have ScrapeBox, I recommend you purchase it - now! IMHO, it is by far the best money you will spend on an IM tool.
I haven't previously visited either one of the two sites that you mentioned in your question. However, I just visited both sites and took at look at what they offer. I believe SB will give you most of the information you are interested in.
As far as I know you can use SB to determine the following information:
- PageRank
- Backlinks
You want to start by creating a file that contains the domains you want to investigate (you do not need to include the H T T P : / / - just a domain will do). For the rest of this reply, I'll refer to that file as
CheckThese.txt.
Then, open SB's
Backlink Checker and load
CheckThese.txt. This add-on will retrieve the backlink information you desire.
I thought the backlink count was probably retrieved from Yahoo! Site Explorer (YSE), but I just realized that the number of backlinks displayed by SB is not equal to the number shown by YSE. SB has more than YSE! So, SB seems to be checking YSE and other sources.
Does anyone know what where SB gets this count?
SB allows you to view/save the specifics of each backlink found.
To get Page Rank, you can load
CheckThese.txt into the SB harvester and use
Check Pagerank (for a specific URL or domain).
SB also has an
Alexa Rank Checker add-on. You may be interested in using it as well.
Hope this helps.
