I tried this and got my new websites ruined.

Unless you handpick keywords and content this could be a disaster)))

You will have to check every article manually etc., like the topic it Is and not just drain keywords in it.

Besides u will have no clue what content it outputs.))

Maybe)) because I am a total newbie who knows)) but I disliked the hole process a lot

This is not true. Plenty of people succeed. You have just not figured it out yet. Don't say something works as this mindset will not allow you to solve problems.

What's the problem with mindest?

You still have to handpick relevant keywords) or you will have shitty keywords and random stuff on your website which are irrelevant to say at least.

If I want to publish articles I will but manually to make sure they are relevant and fit the website and not some crappy content

So, if u are doing a work just do it once and do it right.

Okay, you want to have the mindset of somebody who wines then so be it. Plenty of people are succeeding. You haven't and you're poopy about it. Good luck in life. It seems like you're right where you need to be.

kiddo what's wrong with you?

Someone has to proof read that is a human no matter what you do....

If ai was that good google would just cut everyone out and do it themselves and keep everything.....

You should be doing this anyway. Always check what the AI or content generator outputs. Always edit in your own keywords/ onpage SEO.

After some time, you’ll get into a good rhythm of editing and it won’t take you as long.

I tried this on multiple blogs. it worked only one time and failed multiple times. It worked for one blog when I bulk generated the articles beforehand and posted them to the blog, and I set up auto internal linking before connecting google search console.

All the glamour and success stories aside.

In reality, you will have to do manual work)) Otherwise, it's just shooting in the dark, and with AI involved u have no clue what it can generate))

And u still have to optimize it for Seo and that requires manual work like it or not.

I tried bulk content plugin and other things today)) and It threw me off)) it did work but not what I want/willing to work with.

And it's not because I failed or something like that)) I have not I just tested out, how it worked and it sucked!

my Ai written articles are doing well in terms of ranking)) Because most of them I manually optimized)

Of course, there will be people who have enough tech knowledge ( luck ) and experience to make it work but us regular mortals, are unaware of how this works.

Manual work is the best option ))

Yeap, I will focus on more of that aspect) then just generating some random crap.

it will save you a lot of time if you are writing the whole article out by yourself. You should always go in check that the information is correct and edit a few things to make it sound more natural. You will start to notice the ai will write in the same style if you are using the same prompt every time

I beg to differ. From a technical perspective if it can be done manually, it can be automated, but you have to do the manual work first in order to automate/improve the process. In otherwords, you have to know what your doing to begin with. AI isn't going to make you great at SEO if you don't know about SEO. What's great with AI is, it can add a layer of intelligence to your work flow to make human like decisions, like keyword selection. What's your (not you OP, but a person in general) method to selecting keywords and determining what content fits the keywords or is SEO optimized? You can take that logic and build your own AI model to answer your own questions for you. It can be done, but it's not easy or cheap.

The problem with mass generated content from my own experience, is that if you simply push the button you will simply be hogging the crawlers to read a shitload of worthless pages. I've read in this forum in the past few days some very interesting ideas on using automatically generated content with certain level of "algorithmics", for example, generating the content paragraph by paragraph and reanalyzing each single beat to generate a graph of context. This could be automated but it's not easy: you need to understand a little bit of statistics to intersect this. I trying to learn about this more because it's not an easy thing and it will require a ton of hours of learning.

This method works the best. One of my previous mistake is connecting GSC before any other thing including internal linking is done correctly.

Also, when you mastered the manual process. It will be easier to replicate it using automation.

took me 2 weeks to make 1 template and prompt, lots of trial and error and refinement to get it right

It's quite challenging in the beginning. Non-english content was a huge hurdle for me.

Took mine more than 3 weeks, almost wanted to give up haha.

There are tools that do the job pretty nicely.
Don't jump to conclusions by trying just 1 time.

This is taking me a while to work through too. Any recommendations on AI tools / APIs that automate well and generate SEO content based on pages that are already ranking for the keywords?

Forget about good prompting and the like, if you do not take a look at your work, you might find yourself doing double the work.

Try to use long tail keywords so AI have content to work with.
