yep i saw some kits. but this one was built out of a pc that i had in the office not being used.

I built one about a year ago, 2 versions mid sized aquarium with a regular ATX motherboard then went smaller using a microatx mobo with a dual core atom. Fun stuff, never added the radiator to transfer the heat, it did get quite hot :\

Good stuff man, go get a SSD and submerge that puppy

cant put real fish will have to be fake.

What about CPU cooling? You need convection of the oil nearby the cpu cooling unit. How do you ensure that, esp. at higher clock frequencies/thermal output?

IF you have a computer. then all you need that will cost is a fish tank and the oil. If you need me to build one for you contact me on im.

im not here trying to sell anything.

i read somewhere mexican laser eels can live in white mineral oil (plus they glow in the dark - neon green...)

you should ad a few.
