Anyone else notice how the indexing rate is slipping fast and most of the sites are now PR 0? Looks like google hit em hard. Not sure I will continue with this service after this month.

I didnt checked but was thinking to try ... you saved me

Index rate for me personally is fine. I always try to make my articles not look like "bmr posts" though.

As far as PR, you are going to have that happen with any service like this.
Your articles are placed on pr1 blogs, and on the next update it loses a point.

I do very well ranking sites using primarily BMR. Remember, it's not all about PR. The quality of the BMR network is really what sets it apart.

OMG, you're right! At this rate I fear a 95% indexing rate, which of course would be much worse than every other network. /sarc

If you have more up to date stats do share. My stats haven't been updated since 11/14.

I'm not so worried about some PR0 sites. Have you looked at the backlink profiles of some of the PR0 domains? The ones I have looked at look strong. As long as those sites are not deindexed BMR is good for me since it still moves me up the SERPs.

ROFL... so many smartasses around this site.

The DOMAIN PR is what has tanked to zero on HUNDREDS of my posts. This is not page PR, but domain PR.

And it will happen again on the next PR update. It's just the nature of the beast

Well...

There was a large PR update 2 weeks ago and we had sites that lost their PR, and we had sites that increased their PR. Par for the course with an update like this.

Once that happens those sites are disabled from future posts, and of course we'll be adding more sites with PR over the coming months as we always do. Existing posts on these sites will remain as is. In the majority of cases, these now PR0 sites will reclaim their original PR in the next update.

As for indexing rates, they were off at the start of the month as we had a server issue that's since been corrected, and indexing is now back to normal levels.

Best regards,

John

I do fear that as BMR becomes more popular, more webmasters will use it and eventually Google will catch on. I think deindexing hundreds of BMR sites wouldn't be difficult, just create a bogus account, post articles and start deindexing domains where those articles are posted.

Thanks for this explanation.
BMR worked awesome for my microniches and hope it stays that way.

I mentioned this several days ago and was accused of spouting "BS". Lol.

I've been monitoring it for a few days, and actually, the PR0 sites have started to slow down. It was increasing at a rapid rate (went from having 13 PR0 sites to 288 PR0 sites). More than 50 sites were tanking to PR0 everyday, but the past few days, that's slowed down. Actually, in the last 24 hours, none of my sites tanked so I'm hoping that the problem has stopped.

Yeah, this is something i m concerned about too. the popularity has grown in the last couple of month but it's still a very good service and works fine.

Seriously it will take some lacky a week or so to be up on 90% of the domains in BMR's network. I am sure that google probably knows about 90% of these already. Google is toying with you and tolerating this for the time being. They are saving a special panda update to devalue the network and all your efforts there will be in vain.

I'm not familiar with BMR, but wouldn't it be better to build up your own web 2.0 sites to use for backlinking?

Not looking really great to be honest. I know our resident affiliate marketers would disagree, but I dont really care what they think. ;)

Thanks to BHW for spamming the upload form with BS affiliate links. Cannot upload right now, but will as soon as these clowns pull their heads from their arses. ;)
