I do a lot of outreach for my businesses. Though because it's cold, there's no trust built at all. Of course, a call is made, but a lot of the time these business owners just google the company name.

Which is good because I want them to see my site, see my reviews from Google, and our case studies. But I really want to fill up the SERPs for my company name.

What's the best way to build social proof for a business?

Make sure your site looks professional. Try to get some press coverage if you can. Also, engage your social media and stay active on there

First claim all the social media pages for your website
Then you can claim your website from top review websites
You can ask your customer/clients to post reviews on those reviews platform

Gotta learn how to crawl, before you start walking—let alone run.

Here are some action items:

- Great website with clear call-to-actions, About Us page, testimonials/reviews. It helps if you have logos of brands you’ve worked with and press you’ve received (As seen on x y z)

- Secure all social media handles, Facebook, TikTok, IG, YT, LinkedIn etc. Better if it’s uniform across all channels.

- Setup your account on review sites like Google Reviews. Depending on your business, explore sourcing reviews from other top sites.

- Once you have that figured out, get reviews and testimonials from your current or past customers. You can do this manually or through an ORM software

Hope this helps!
