Building next generation SEO Tools, need your suggestions

Hi blackhatters,

I am a coder and planning to build a set of SEO tools to help out friends. I will start with a simple SERP tracker first, then add requested features around it. If you are frustrated with other SERP trackers and have requested features, PM me or leave message here.

You have already coded a SERP tracker or want to start coding? If you have not done yet, try adding the SERP tracking on geographical basis. Like, website ranking on Google.co.uk for the keyword Payday Loans in U.K.
 
Send us a copy once its completed. i would like it to try out.. this is my suggestion, try to build to enable searching for multiple keywords at once.

Still looking for more suggestions. If you have SEO tasks that you are doing day in and out, and would like to have a tool to help out. Just put your suggestions here, and I will incorporate them if enough people ask for it.

We will provide the tool to you guys to try when it is done.

Add bulk in the serp tracker for sites, kws, search engines.

Add the option of serp watch for keywords you want to rank for top 10 for analyzing the sites every day and watch what sites decreased in ranking and what sites increase in ranking to know how to rank :)

Option of sending emails with ranking updates.

Competition analysis is one of the most important aspects of seo research. Straight after keyword analysis you should do competition analysis. A tool that did one then the other would be good.

I can't agree more with Scritty.
Is possible to implement creation of web 2.0? It would be nice that your solution already have most of the sites, so we don't need to do a lot of things manually.

Scritty - yeah, i am thinking to show keywords that your competitions are using and a 2D map of where your position is among your competition, thank you
mAestro - haha, you are calling me old? yeah, i want to make it functional and yet a beautiful site to look at. To make thing fast, I want to add ajax (so you dont need page reload) and planning to add keyboard shortcut.

What do you think about this idea? Adding capability to annotate the ranking graph, adding event tag. Each event tag is just a timestamp and a simple note. Say you just did something that should bump the ranking up and you want to mark the date and verify later on to see if it helped.
