Well, it will help the computer in general. Because each Firefox will eat less RAM and also the CPU won't work for rendering Firefox. Is like running a thinner Firefox in terms of RAM, the render engine is not present so it will not occupy space in memory.
Also, your CPU is like this right now:
"Hey, GPU, we have this guy FirefoxNo23 who's changing face, render him please!"
"Hey, GPU, we have this guy FirefoxNo49 who's changing face, render him please!"
"Hey, GPU, we have this guy FirefoxNo19 who's changing face...(again)... render him please!"

If you would go headless, CPU would do only the network part (and your automations).

I have icons on desktop, but I also have bat file.
So here's something fun. I had a few programs crash. And the PC is loud as fuck.
I'll restart it and revert bios to default.
This is really getting on my nerves now.

@Visual Eagle man, I may have done something wrong. I updated the BIOS when I got the computer, I don't remember what I was trying to deal with.
But I just realized something. On the BIOS page it says:
"*ASRock do NOT recommend updating this BIOS if Pinnacle, Raven, Summit or Bristol Ridge CPU is being used on your system."
But, Ryzen 7 2700X appears to be Pinnacle Ridge from what I see online. And I didn't pay any attention to that notice initially because I had no idea what those things are, but I was sure it didn't apply to me.
Did i just fuck myself here?
I'll downgrade the BIOS to the last version that didn't have that notification.

The reason they don't recommend updating afaik for non-3000 series is because a few of the parameters disappear that are useful for previous gen Ryzen (they do this to make room for series 3000 improvements) and there might be backwards compatibility issues. Before flashing 3.2 though, see if there's any improvements for you processor that's worth updating.
Honestly, I feel like there were compatibility issues. Maybe I'm paranoid, but changing CPU to manual kept it there, it didn't want to go back to Auto. There was a compatibility problem I am sure of it.
I downgraded to an old version of BIOS. The BIOS has some different options now. I set the ram to 3200, because why not. I turned on the computer and started running things, and it crashed. So I turned it down to 3000. Now Windows/task manager doesn't even show me what MHz my ram is running
but cpu-z says 1496 MHz lol

If you're running 70 programs now, I think you will have ~ 100 after.
And... If my assumption is correct, I think I saved you 1200 dollars. Technically, you owe me $1.2k. But I'm a good guy, you can keep the $200 to buy that carpet.

This is something you should have totally not done.. Updating BIOS is okay if its really needed (I avoid it if possible) but downgrading it back to the version you were previously (bad move)...

I had to downgrade man. On the Asrock website it says to not use that version of BIOS if you're running Pinnacle Ridge, and that's what I have. Well, I didn't "have to" downgrade, but it would make sense to do it.
Well anyway, I downgraded to the oldest version, and I'm upgrading one at a time. Fuck it, I've come this far right.
Every time I upgrade, I get 2400 MHz ram. Then I set the XMP profile to 3000 MHz, and after restart Windows won't show me how many MHz my ram has in task manager, and CPU-Z says it's 1496 MHz.
Fuck it, I'll continue going through the BIOS versions one by one until I reach the last one that didn't have the Pinnacle ridge notice, and then I'll stop and just use the computer however I can. Stupid computer. Now I'm really in love with Gigabyte and Ryzen 3 and 5. Asrock and Ryzen 7 can suck my dick!

Asrock actually makes proper motherboards (lots are even better then gigabytes and cheaper).. if you cheap out on them though this is what would happen.

Well I didn't exactly cheap out. I got Asrock B450 Steel Legend. Better than the regular B450. Has good reviews online. Was recommended by a friend.

Should've gone with Pro4 but yeah they are kind of similar. Should do the job. Am not used to buying "cheap" mobos since AMD has like 30% cheaper MOBOs then for intel.

I don't know if it will do the job.
At this point, updating BIOS fixed the CPU problem. But now my ram is acting up, defaulting to 1400mhz and windows even refusing to show the mhz in the task manager.
I have no idea what's going on anymore. Totally losing my mind here.

Manually overclock it in BIOS or try 2 rams in the DDR4_A2 and DDR4_B2.

I just installed the latest version of the BIOS that didn't have the "don't use with Pinnacle Ridge notice."
I overclocked in BIOS at 3000 MHz.
Task Manager shows 3000 MHz.
CPU-Z shows 1496.4 MHz
And I ran this command in CMD - wmic memorychip get speed - and it shows 3 chips at 3000.
I guess that's it. For real now. The Ram seems to be ok, the BIOS too, the CPU also. Ok enough now. I don't think there's anything else for me to do.

Yeah I will.
I'll try to open 70 programs, just like I have on my other computer. Often this new computer crashed at 70 programs. And it most certainly never worked properly. All the programs get real slow, real lag across the board.
I'll try it, and if there's problems I'll reduce the amount of programs I use until I reach a workable amount.
