Building New Computer!

I connected the ssd and covered it with the armor thing. It's like a fucking knight over here with its armor and shit :D

I connected the GPU

I'm connecting power supply cables to everything now...

I connected the big one, 20 pins or whatever. I connected the small one for CPU. I connected a PCIE one for the GPU.

The power supply has some instructions. The motherboard has no instructions, as to what to connect where.

But I think that's it. Motherboard, CPU, GPU, done.
 
Ok. I'm gonna

take a piss
make coffee
get cables organized in the case
put together the monitor
plug everything in and turn on the computer

Go!!!

Ok guys, I'm ready. One last piece of info I should mention, my GPU doesn't have a VGA slot, and my monitor only has a VGA slot. So I'm using a "DVI-D to VGA" adapter.

All things considered, there's about a thousand things that can go wrong when I turn on the computer. Anywhere from nothing happening to it developing artificial intelligence and exterminating all life on earth. I don't know, we'll see how it goes. I'd rather it be the second one cuz then at least I've accomplished something. If nothing happens it's gonna be total fail :D

haha just kidding...

 
As i figured. The computer turns on, the lights are on. I can hear the fans. And it auto restarts every 60 seconds or so. Did it 6 or 7 times now. No screen display.

I removed one of the rams. Same issue :(

The CPU makes a lot of noise for some reason. Not sure if im being paranoid.
 
I timed it twice. It turns on for 27 seconds, then turns off for 2-3 seconds, then on again, and keeps looping.
 
Have you applied thermoconductive paste for the cpu?
All the wires inside are in the right place?

The ryzen comes with paste pre applied.

I think ita all connected. All the lights come on correctly. The cpu and gpu fans work fine.
 
I've seen something similar this loop before.
Please correct if I'm wrong, but is the motherboard BIOS updated to this Ryzen?

I dont know. Everything is new. Never been used before.
 
I'm building a similar setup and I saw some motherboards BIOS no updated to Ryzen 3xxx versions. I'm not sure if it's your case
 
I guess next step is to disconnect the gpu and see if the computer stays on or at least gives any beeps
 
Tried with no gpu. Still restarted after 27 seconds. Twice.
 
Tried with hard drive removed. The same
 
Tried with no ram. Same problem
