Building my first website

Hey everyone,
This is kinda of my first post here, I have been reading some stuff here and there and have decided to start taking action by starting a microniche website to monitize it with amazon affiliate, to be honest this is my first time ever Im building a website, so you can say Im a complete newbie.
My budget is: 1000$, and willing to hire a writer for the articles (cuz abviously my writing skills are too good to be on a website)
My goal is: 150$ a month, after maybe 6 to 9 months after publishing the website.
So I have a few questions, Im hoping someone could answer for me:

First of all, Im thinking about building it in a language other then english (French since I can understand it pretty well), so is this means that there will be a lower competitions for me? or it doesn't worth it.
Will a 1000$ be enough? for about 30 or 25 articles, and all the other expenseses (Hosting, Domain, Themes, Plugins and Keyword tools)
What if I outsource the Keyword researching part, cuz Im bad at it, and its a crucial part in the projet and Im afraid to mess it up.
Will you advice me to do this, cuz as i said before Im a newbie here and Im started thinking this is a big projet for me.

$1000 is more than enough to start. You can cover up all the domain and hosting expenses under $50 and spend the rest on quality articles. Dont go for linkbuilding yet. Make your site legit and build up authority with quality content.

And if you're not good in Onpage SEO and keyword research hire some one to do so.

Firstly, congratulations on a realistic goal.

I would suggest you learn keyword research / SEO yourself first before you outsource it. I see no problem with out sourcing the content creation just keep in mind the content might need SEO tweaking and it will deplete your funds quicker.

1. Probably, but how many amazon users are there in FR compared to english speaking countries?
2. $1000 should be enough. If you're on a tight budget then you should maybe get the theme and some plugins from the BHW download section

3. Best if you learn it but it's fine to outsource as well

Thanks for your advice, That's what I was thinking, first setting the website up and running then start the linkbuilding.

Thanks for your reply, I really didn't think of the SEO retweaking for the articles, for right now Im still reading from the forum about this topic.

Thanks for the advices, and that's why I was asking if its worth it, Im mean less competition in keywords but less traffic too.

Market high quality products on Amazon (4 stars and up).
Insert a bunch of keywords in image names and alt text.
Insert the affiliate link in product title, image and in the paragraph below the product.
Use high quality images for the featured and product images.
Integrate native Amazon ads before your content, worked best for me after some testing.
Write with buyer's intent in mind, use customer-centered keywords.
The posts need to be short enough to keep them interested, don't use too much filler text.
Make sure the navigation is optimized for the visitors to click on other related content.
Write engaging titles, but keep in mind that simpler is better.
