Building Links through Redirects Private Blog Network

Had an idea today and wanted to run by you guys - I'm sure some of you on here may have already thought or tried this already.

My thought is if you're a member of a private blog network of lets say 10 sites. Naturally you only want 1 link from each of those domains since multiple links from the same site don't really do much for you.

So in this case, your PBN links are maxed out to 10 LRDs per money site.

Now what if you buy another domain and 301 to your money site. Then go back to those same 10 PBN sites and create new posts pointing at the domain which redirects to your money site.

So you're basically doubling the scope of the PBN - from 10 links to 20.

I'm going to experiment with this but wanted to see if anyone had already done this.

And how do you think google looks at this?

1. 20 links from 10 LRDs just as they would if i had 2 links on each PBN site pointing directly to money site.
2. 10 links from 10 LRDs with a huge stream of misc link equity from redirect.
3. ??

Actually a very interesting idea, I'd love to see the results from this. In fact I'm gonna try this with one of the networks I'm apart of.

I've tried this before with my own sites, it still seemed like I was getting diminishing returns, as if it was counting it as 2 links from the same site instead of 2 original links. Other variables however might have effected my test. A bigger test might give different results. Let us know.
