I have a website that is about 9 months old with 65 post. I haven't build any links to it, just letting it age. A few days ago, i found an expired domain that used to be a news site with great links coming from other huge news site. At first, i'm going to add this site for my PBN but since this site used to be a legit news site, so now i'm thinking to move my site to this domain.

So here's my question, i recently build links to the old site, not much, just a couple. After 301 redirect to the expired domain, should i build links right away or wait a few weeks to let it settle down a bit?

so you waited 9 months without making links and want to wait more? dayum

i'm playing it slow with this site, TBH i almost forgot about this project, lol..

Remeber you need that domain to be in the niche of news , like it was when it was first added to google, or could get ban or de indexed......

Let say i buy a x domain in football and try and make it know swimming ill get ban so be careful.

Use the wayback website to see what was on it from them times ...

infact can even use all the info they had and bring it back alive.

Of course need copy scape make sure it content not still used .

my site is about health, beauty and hobbies it's not exactly news but the old site cover some health tips too. I think i'm going to take a chance here since it's still relevant-ish.

Yeah i'm planning to do this, some of the content that has a lot of backlinks are going to be posted again. thanks for the insights!
