Building LinkPush? Stop and Read - UC LinkPush- My 500th post

It looks like a good strategy but my big question would be - you seem to have a narrow range of web 2.0's that you use - I can see the same style of linkpushes repeated for different keywords on the same sub-domains - what happens if someone pulls the plug on a service - say webs.com goes bust or they start to moderate it and ban your blogs? Sorry to re-iterate a previous poster but I dont believe any of these, even the tier 1's would pass manual inspection they look fairly badly spun to me (just saying!)


Wouldn't it be a better long term plan to buy some aged domains - or build up your own from scratch to avoid this issue? I realise most of the primary domains are high PR but these sub-domains are all P N/A or 0 anyway so how much authority do they really carry?

Dont get me wrong I use a lot of web 2.0's but I tend to have 1 article/account and build lots of them. SE Nuke X has something like 20-30 Web 2.0 services so there are plenty out there.

Lastly, and this is so important - if you are spending that kind of time building these structures you can save a load of grief by making sure your on site SEO is top notch and adding the good unique content there. I have a site that was (I admit poorly SEO'd) but I spent some time on it recently and I have moved multiple IM related keywords from page 10+ to page 2 and climbing in just a couple of weeks by just doing on-page SEo and no link building at all. Post panda its just as important (maybe more so) than exotic link structures.

The point isn't to have super high ranking tiers, it is more to have some sites that have SOME links to them. You can make a pyramid with 5 properties and thousands of backlinks to each on, but it takes a while to send the linkjuice. I find I jump around 5-15 spots with each push I do.

Using this and an article blast to around 30 sites, Im now top 35 for my KW with 27000 exact searches per month w/out an emd. Getting some traffic from long tails too and I have only done 7 pushes.
 
Wich web 2.0 properties you guys are experiencing the best indexing speed ?
the top 3 here for me but its no brainer is

wordpress
blogger
tumbler (it takes sometimes 2 days to index all the content inside if your are making some inner pages linking or using as tier 2)

devhub is doing really great in less than 20hrs it gets all pages indexed but it looks the max of blogs you can create is 2
yola and webs are both doing fine getting indexed in 48-72hours period

but xanga is being really a pain in the ass to get indexed

btw ranking in #20 for 5k exact match kw with 2 7x7 LP and before the lp wasnt even in top1k just waiting to get everything indexed (only 50% were indexed) to see if I just do a 3x3 or another 7x7 lp
 
The problem with doing before asking is that it really wastes a lot of time. Let's say that you decided to build a link pyramid using the same username with all of the web 2.0's? Or let's say that you started before you even learned how to spin? Taking action is fine, but some people just want to get all of their specific questions answered before they are ready to act, so they don't waste their time, and I have yet to meet 1 "pro" on here who is willing to answer them and not have their ego tell them that their time is "too valueable" to answer them.

What these "pros" don't realize is, if they just answer 10 detailed questions from 1 person, that only takes them 5 minutes, but it gets that person started probably 2 or 3 weeks earlier than they would have, if they had to find the answers to all of those questions separately.

And I'm in top 5 for 3 keywords. Exact Searches are 1k/mo.

1. I spin a lot of articles and put each into a note pad file.
2. And I have a list of web 2.0 blogs I sign up with.
3. After I'm done I use digg and other bookmarking properties to bookmark the page to send google bots.
4. It takes about one week for links to show up.

A second thing for another site, I have moved one of my site that was on page 3 all the way up to #2, it has 1k/searches month.

I have a simple question in regards to this... do we need a separate Web 2.0 for every niche? Like someone noted, one post per Web 2.0 might look suspicious, so if you use the same Web 2.0's to link push a website of a different niche, will that affect anything? :S Or does it not matter?

Using same web 2.0 for to build links for other sites is actually a better idea.

i live in a small country and have trouble finding good proxys so just resetting the router/modem would make thinks a lot easier for me :)

I didn't get any results with social bookmarking, I tried 4 most popular bookmarking sites.

My articles are not in english, although I doubt that this should be the reason for google to not index. Although all the popular social bookmarking sites give me N O F O L L O W links olny, so it should be normal that google will not crawl those links?

What is the correct way of doing social bookmarking so google will crawl and index my new properties?

Should these bookmarking accounts be aged in order to work?
Should these accounts also have backlinks?
How many bookmarks you make at once with one account?
Or is there something else I might be doing wrong?

Napster, Thanks for such an eye opening thread. I read it from beginning to end. I have been struggling with getting any significant serp change by creating web 2.0 link pyramids. In fact I was even struggling to get most of them indexed. Can I ask you one question.

how do multiple unique content link pushes from the same web 2.0 properties bring serp benefit compared to a single link push. What I have believed so far is that multiple links from the same website will not give any additional benefit to the money site. Can you share your view on this.

I have a map of this up on my whiteboard right now. However I would really love a tool that could automate linkpushes for me, even after I've posted the articles on my own

Dumb noob question here -- what are the "tiers" that are referred to in the explanation? My own sites? Other people's sites I am posting on?
 
Tiers are those other sites or pages where you post your links to.. Think of it as levels that points or links to the one above it:

Money Site << Tier 1 << Tier 2 << Tier 3
