Building content/blog website. Beginner's questions

I'm pretty new to this, got a lot of free time and I thought I could use it. It also helps that Im able to invest a few thousands when I see at least some tractions gained on my content site.

Now for the questions: what to do after building my site? I didn't publish any articles yet, just built the template/first page on my WordPress. I'm ready to publish the site, but will a completely new domain set me back? Is it better to buy aged, authority domain?

Should I go directly for Ahrefs immediately after publishing the site or can I gain some traction without it/with my own keyword analysis?

At what point should I do link building/manual outreach/pbns ?
