Building Backlinks for New MNS

Hi guys,

As stated in the title, what are your link building strategies that you used for micro niche sites(MNS) which are new. How long do you wait before building links to it and what kind of links do you build.

Any advice would be much appreciated

If it's a new MNS i wouldn't blast it with low quality links. My startegy would be guest posts on rellevant blogs, press releases, a bit of ude/gov backlinks and maybe some private blog network but in small amounts. Drip feed everything and use a lot of keyword variations to make it all look natural

I did a blast of 400 Web 2.0 properties on a new MNS of mine with lots of keywords.
Do you think it's abit too much ?
