    Hey,

I wonder how can I build authority for my blog ? Will adding links to digg, stumble, peopeller, del.icious.us make it happen ?

The reason i ask is, cos we're pointing links from counters / polls / paid reviews to our sites and after 2-4 month we get dropped. Is there any way to "hide" our BH links ?

If you are going for the white hat approach, i'd suggest trying to find some high quality relevant links. Blog commenting could net you some for free. You could also see if there are any quality directories in your niche that you could get in.

Some article marketing would probably help too.

    Building authority with Google
Study become a expert in your field then post what you know

Becoming a expert in your niche will not do

You have to look at the big picture to be a authority

I have to say that simply posting a lot of good stuff on a topic you know about is enough to do well. You really have to customize / plugin wp to get the best out of it. In its natural state it just doesnt do well at all SEO wise. In fact I would go so far as to say most people doing s static site would produce something better SERPS wise than a virgin WP blog.
